Till date Maruti has achieved a lot selling a different segment car "Vitara Brezza" in diesel variants only. Now as the government rules are tightening up and Maruti is also inclining towards more petrol variants targeting a sweep turnover from 2020.
With this change "Vitra Brezza" is expected to come in petrol variant in upcoming August with the below specifications
Specifications:
- The 1.2-litre Dual Jet engine makes 90PS and 113Nm in the Baleno.
- Maruti might also offer an automatic transmission with the petrol variants.
- Turbocharged 1.0-litre BoosterJet from the Baleno might also be offered.
- Currently, the Brezza gets a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
This engine is expected to claimed efficiency figure of 23.87kmpl.
Pricing:
Exact Prices are not yet revealed but it is expected to have a price cut. thus further enhancing its value-for-money quotient. If Maruti Suzuki prices the petrol-powered Brezza right, it may reach the skies comparing looking at the current sales of the diesel models. Currently it competes with the Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and the Mahindra XUV300.
