Suzuki Inazuma Price Reduced By Rs 1 Lakh

Suzuki launched the Inazuma quarter liter biker bike on January 20 at a stupendously high priced tag of Rs. 3.61 Lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). The Inazuma is the only bike in the segment to come with twin cylinder, but the drawback for the Inazuma is its insane price. Even though Inazuma has created lots of buzz and the customer response were excellent, but they didn't take home the Inazuma as the price is unreachable for most of them.

Most of the manufactures didn’t reduce the price much, even though volumes is less. But Suzuki has just done the opposite thing as the company has reduced the price by Rs 1 Lakhs, which suddenly make the Inazuma the darling of the segment. Now the Suzuki Inazuma is priced at Rs. 2.61 Lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). The company managed to reduce the price by assembling the Inazuma in India. Since the launch only 200 units have been sold, but the numbers will definitely improve now.

Indian customers have matured a lot in the recent years. A good finished product with excellent performance at a good price point will easily get good volumes. Now the Inazuma has lots of things going for it and the package looks really attractive. If Suzuki had launched the Inazuma at this price point it must have been sold really well. The customers who have already brought the Inazuma will compensate them according to company.
Suzuki Inazuma is powered by 248 cc liquid cooled parallel twin cylinder liquid cooled engine produces 24 PS of power at 8500 RPM and torque of 22 NM at 6500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Performance is not blistering as the 0-100 kmph takes more than 10 seconds and the top speed is just 131 kmph. The Inazuma is not positioned as a performance bike, it is a touring bike. The comfort and refinement of the Inazuma are class leading, you can cruise for long rides without any problem. Suzuki Inazuma competes with the KTM Duke 390 and Honda CBR 250 R. Among them our choice will be the Inazuma as the overall package is much better than the rivals.
