o rival with Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano, Maruti S-Cross is likely to be powered by 1.6 litre petrol engine pushing 120 PS maximum power and 156 Nm peak torque. A 1.6 litre Multijet diesel mill from Fiat producing 120 PS top power and 320 Nm highest torque is also a possible candidate for upcoming Maruti S-Cross.
Exterior carries usual crossover specific scuff plates and lower body black plastic cladding. Distinctive front grille, large headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and 16 inch alloy wheels gives Maruti S-Cross immense road presence. The niche segment entrant abounds in safety equipment; gets 5 star rating in Euro NCAP safety tests.
