Range Rover is known for its off-roading abilities all over the world. The Range Rover Sport is the sportiest version of the Range Rover. Now a days performance cars are getting more popular than ever. Performance variants of the Porsche Cayenne created a whole bunch of enthusiast who want muscle looks with performance and everyday car. Land Rover is developing the Range Rover Sport RS which is the sportiest version of the Range Rover Sport.
The test mules of the Range Rover Sport RS were spied lots of times in the Nurburgring track a place where all the performance cars are put through its paces. Now Land Rover released a teaser video in which the Range Rover Sport RS variant go pass the camera on the track. In design there won’t be much difference except for the new sporty front and rear bumper along with skirts. The alloywheels are bigger to improve the sporty look of the Sport RS.
The prototypes spied also has the quad exhaust which will make the driving even more fun. The Sport RS is powered by the 5.0 L V8 supercharged engine produces 550 PS of power and 680 NM of torque, which is 40 PS of more power and 55 NM of torque more than the regular variant. The suspension will be tuned for sporty and chassis will be more stiffer to improve the handling. Range Rover Sport RS is expected to be unveiled at the Good Wood Festival of Speed.
